This cover was mailed from Saarbrucken, Saar on March 27, 1931 and flown to Friedrichshafen, Germany where it was cancelled March 28, 1931. Then it was placed on board the Graf Zeppelin, where it received the red Germany flight cachet for the “Ungarnfahrt 1931.” It was flown on the airship to Budapest, Hungary. Upon arrival the cover received a cancellation dated March 29, 1931 and applied with Hungarian Zeppelin arrival cachet wording “Zeppelinnel Erkezett.” In Nancy, France received a backstamped dated March 31, 1931.
